Calling
Four simultaneous lines with hold and swap, conferencing that merges the active lines, WAV recording with a per-call toggle, in-band and out-of-band DTMF, do not disturb with a configurable busy signal, and voicemail counts from MWI. Pasted numbers normalize themselves: spaces, hyphens and parentheses are stripped and the leading «+» is kept.
Messaging
Instant messaging over SIP MESSAGE, in threaded conversations with unread counts. Per-message status —sending, sent, delivered, read— and a live typing indicator per RFC 3994. Notifications only fire when the window is out of sight, not while you are reading the chat.
Contacts and presence
One address book per SIP account, isolated from the rest. Corporate directory over LDAP against Active Directory or OpenLDAP/389-DS, live presence for your colleagues —available, busy, away, offline—, speed dial and favorites for the numbers called every day, and import and export in CSV and Excel.
Quality and diagnostics
MOS, jitter, packet loss and round-trip time, measured while the call is happening and visible right then, not the next day in a report. Per-account history holding every call —incoming, outgoing, missed and failed—, filterable by direction and exportable to CSV. Plus SRV and NAPTR checks for when the problem turns out to be DNS.
Security and network
Encrypted signaling over TLS, with optional server-certificate verification and room to load your own certificate authority. Encrypted media with SRTP, optional or mandatory depending on the account. And NAT traversal with STUN, ICE and TURN, configurable account by account.
Several accounts at once
Register several SIP accounts simultaneously, each with its own transport, authentication, NAT rules and codec priority among G.722, PCMU, PCMA and G.729. Automatic provisioning from a URL so you do not configure device by device, and a different background per account so nobody answers as the wrong identity.
